Can Laxative Tea Affect Birth Control Pill Efficacy?

Hello I started birth control pill in April. Just finished my second pack of active pills. Today is Sun and took my first inactive pill on the second pack. I am worried my period is not coming. I took a laxative tea on Tuesday last week at 9pm or later. I take my pills at 2pm. Could this affect my pill? My husband and I had unprotected sex.
