Can Lichen Sclerosis Involve Internal Organs Like Intestines And Lungs?

I am 56 years oldI have lichen sclerosis in the perianal area which for the most part is under control. I treat with clobetasol oint. My concern is can this also involve internal organs, like the intestines, lungs etc. My aunt had some form of disease in which mucusal type linings became thickened like scales. This affected her eyes and esophagus by the time she died she was unable to open her eyelids or swallow anything but liquids. I was very young when she had this and my mother doesn't remember the dx. Just concern about this.
