Can Long Term Usage Of Pill Cause Problem In Conceiving?

Hi i stoped taking my pill around 24th jan had my period a couple days later, but i have not had my period since then. me and my partner are tryting to get pregnant i have taken apregnancy test which was negative that was a week ago. i am worried that becuase i was on the pill for 5-6 years that i will not be able to get pregnant for a loing time. please could you shed some light on this as i have read some upsetting comments onlinr from other women
