Can Low Testosterone Cause Hair Thinning?

I was watching Dr OZ yesterday and he said women who are stressed a lot produce testerone which will cause thinning of the hair. I take a low gram testrone pill to help with libido.
Will this cause the same thinning of the hair? I am not under stress of any kind.
