Can Lump In Xiphoid Process Area Be Hiatal Hernia?

I have just noticed a lump like stuff in my xiphoid process area like a size of a ping pong ball, also a bulge in the left side of the lower abdomen. I saw 2 urologists. One said that these two things I am having are signs of hernia. The other doctor said the lump in the xiphoid process area is just a bigger xiphoid process that I was born with and the bulge in lower abdomen is a sign of hernia. I am confused. Please help me. I am worried ... can the lump in the xiphoid process area be hiatal hernia. Right now I am just waiting for my blood test results the doctors advised. I have recently been diagnosed with developing type 2 diabetes. I am not taking any medication because I want to fix my diabetes through a balanced diet rich in fiber. What should I do? Also what kind of physical activities or workout can make the condition worse. Please help
