Can Malignant Endometrial Mass Be Treated With Complete Hysterectomy?

I'm a very young 74 yr old, cramping started in lower abdomen, has progressed to massive bleeding. Pelvic Ultrasound revealed a 2cm calcified fibroid of the anterior body wall to the right with mild contour bulge. Final impression: Endometrial mass suspicious for carcinoma. I'm healthy, BP 110/65, Oxygen level 99, weight 144lbs/5'1". Can this be corrected with a full hysterectomy to eliminate cancer, or will it cause (if cancerous) to metastasize? This happened all of a sudden out of nowhere. The news is quite devastating and I sure would like to live into my 90s.
I'm under two doctors' care and will have an endometry biopsy with pelvic ultra sound. Thereafter decision will be made. Please offer your opinion. Thank you, KayeDe
