Can Nebulizer Be Used To Control Constant Coughing By A Toddler?

My 3 year old daughter coughs throughout the night and doesn t get enough of sleep doing so, can I use the nebulizer on her to see if that will help or would it cause harm? I have the cool mist humidifier running in her room and doesn t seem to be helping and gave her cough medicine. She doesn t have a fever nor a cold
