Can one contract Hep C by handling paperwork handled by one infected with Hep C? How long does the virus live on paper? on furniture? on clothing? on anything? I am concerned because my sister who had Hep C that became liver cancer died recently. My siblings and I need to go through her papers and personal effects. We are nervous of contracting Hep C. Would wearing masks and rubber gloves protect us? Does spraying Lysol help? Thank you.
