Can One Get Groin And Joint Pain When Taking Prednisone?

Can one get groin and joint pain when taking prednisone? I also have felt very tired, memory poor and drowsy. I have lung cancer as well as non-hodgkin lymphoma. I also have type 2 diabetes, but I keep this well in check by eating wisely and I also take 2 tablets, twice daily of Metformin. I have my thyroid checked yearly. I recently had it tested and there was no problem. Although half of my thyroid was removed 8 years ago, I do not take any medication for my thyroid.
I am 63 year old white female.
