Can Ovarian Cyst, Cause Abnormal Periods In Woman?

My periods are not normal . I am unmarried and 5"6" in height,weight about 75 kgs.From last 1 year or so my periods r not coming frequently and when they come they last for more than 7 days.I was diagnosed an ovarian cyst in the year 2008 but no problem occured after that. Can it be becz of that.

What remedies do u suggest to improve this situation doctor?
