Can Ovarian Cyst Cause Sharp Pain And Frequent Urination?

Hi Doctor, I was recently diagnosed with a 5cm para ovarian cyst. I get frequent sharp pain and they are not severe. I also didn't get my period for 3 months and i took 4 pregnancy tests all came out negative. I was given progesterone to take for 7 days to bring down my period, so far it's not working . I also have frequent UTI's. Could this all be because of the cyst?
