Can Painful Little White Heads Be Herpes Or Dermatitis?

I got scared that i had herpes, yet the doctors keep reassuring me that it is dermatitis. I went in this morning, and got told by another doctor that it was an 80% chance, it was just dermatitis. 6 hours later, i have little white head things, and mild pain. and i might've been seeing things, but i think there was a burst. But yeah, can this still be dermatitis, or were the doctors wrong?
