Can Pregnancy Be The Reason For Delay In Periods?

I usually have my periods on timeand had my periods on March 29, 2010, this time my periods did not come on its regular date after 4-5 days from the due date i did the home pregneancy test and it came positive on 8th may 2010 i took mifepristone-200mg orally after48 hrs took Misoprostol (4 tablets of 200 mg ) vaginally. Within 2-3 hrs of taking misoprostol i started bleeding heavily, there was also big chunks of clot also came out in bleding...had vomitting also. The bleeding was heavy and continued for a weeks time since last 2 days bleeding is not there but very slight spotting happens sometime. I did the home pregnency test on 19th may 2010 but the result is coming still coming positive.



Pls advice why my test is coming positive when i had my proper bleeding, is there a paricular time to check the pregency after using mifepristone & Misoprostol
