Can Regular Use Of Heating Pad Cause Bruising On The Back?

I just noticed some bruising on my back that looks comparable to a spider web or the pattern of giraffe skin. It doesn t hurt but what can it be? My back does itch occasionally but not to cause spotting on my skin. Can it be the heating pad i use everyday?
