Can Removing Fibroid Cause Any Side Effects?

respected ma'am ! my mom having a mural fibroid arising from right lateral wall of the body and adjacent fundus measuring 13.9*12.7*8.8 centimeters in dimensions. it shows tiny calcific foci and small cystic/necrotic areas & causes compression of endometrial lining, left laterally. we are ready to remove it by surgery but my doubt is after removing the fibroid weather it wil cause any side effects? any problem in future? please guide me what should i do?
