Can Scar Caused By Knife Cute Be Removed?

Hi I have a scar on my left hand which is almost 3 inches in length and 1/2 in in width due to knife cut which has 16 stiches. This happened atleast 10 years back now it looks ugly on hand. Does this can be removed using any laser or other technologies please let me know
