Can Scratching And Bleeding Nose Post Nasal Surgeries Affect The Brain?

I have had two nasal surgeries. I have used nasal sprays most of my life. I accidentally scratched the inside of my nose and made it bleed. It created a hole and I can't seem to leave it alone cause it gets crusty and now it's a big hole. The doctors said they didn't want to put a button in cause it was a foreign object. Can this affect my brain or other parts?
