Can Seborrheic Dermatitis Be Controlled Long-term, And Is It Possible To Regrow Hair Lost Due To This Condition?
Since may 2020 i started to experience excessive oily scalp all of a sudden followed by extreme hair fall. Didn t pay much attention then in jan 2021 consulted a dermatologist got diagnosed with Seborrhoeic dermatitis. He prescribed fluconazole and ketoconazole it did get better then again in nov 2021 i had huge scales on the scalp consulted another dermatologist, he gave saldan shampoo and told to shampoo everyday and also UVB light. It started getting better . It was okay the hair fall was normal until now I m again seeing flakes the scalp feels tight and the hairfall though in normal amounts but has increased. I would like to know if the condition can get better or not as i have heard there s no permanent cure for SD but can be controlled and also i would like to grow my hair back which i have lost in greater amounts
