Can Simethicone Gas Drops Cause Black Spots In An Infant's

Can simethicone gas drops cause black spots in an infant's stool? My 5 day old just had a diaper with black spots in the stool. He had been colicy over night, and we gave him simethicone 0.3. His other two stools today were normal yellow colored. He's a breast fed baby. No thick black tarry stools, just black spots.
