Can Slapping Cause Swollen Zygomatic Area And Abrasion On Nose?

my brother is being accused of slapping his wife on the face that resulted to swelling of zygomatic area, abrasion below nosethril and another abrasion on her nose. Does slapping cause such? Or are there any other reasons that might cause the condition. The wife has tuberculosis.
