Can Steroid Injection Cause Delay In Period?

My period is late by 6 days. last month I had a steriod injection for pain in my arm and was also takingvalacyclovir for shingles. could either one of these give me a false positive pregnancy result. I am having ovarian pain and what feels like my cycle coming on?
