Can Stopping Abilify And Lexapro Cold Turkey And Starting With Wellbutrin Cause Seizures?

hi my name is Dan. I was on Abilify 15 mg. tab ( one before bed time ) and 10 mg. of Lexapro for over 2 years. On march 30th 2015 my family Dr. stopped both of them cold turkey and that same day started me on 40 mg. of Geodon and a pretty high dose of Welbutrin ( sorry I don t remember the exact dosage of the Welbutrin ) Friday morning ( the 17th of April ) I woke up at exactly 12 A.M. to what felt like hands on my chest bouncing me up and down on the bed yet I could see nothing there. I watched the alarm clack as 30 Min. pass, the whole time trying to scream and get up out of bed. I couldn t move a muscle or make a sound. After 30 Min. I was able to get up. I went to the living room and sat on the couch while I collected myself. I looked at the clock in the living room and it said 12.31 A.M. The clocks corresponded, so I know I was awake. I was wondering ( and this has been suggested ) Could that have been some type of seizure that I had? Also shouldn t my Dr. have known not to stop those medications cold turkey and start me on new ones the same day? The mixture of medications caused me to have SSRI Syndrome ( I did go to the ER and they said I had SSRI syndrome ) and I almost died from it. I am fine now but it scared the you know what out of me, as you can imagine. I have never had a seizure before in my life. The reason I am on medications is to try to help my severe Obsessive - Compulsive Disorder and also to help with my newly discovered Bipolar 1 disorder. So, my 2 questions are Did I have a seizure? and should my family Dr. Have known not to stop the medications cold turkey and start new medications that same Day?
