Can Sudden Cessation Of Breast Feeding Cause Sickness?

9 years ago when I was breastfeeding my son I was sent into the field (literally) for a week. It was over 100 degrees and I was forced to cut my pumping to twice a day. I was very ill during this trip. Of course I fought for a month or so to get my milk production back up, but was forced to stop breastfeeding my son. Could the heat and lack of pumping caused my illness?
