Can Swallowing Blood Be Harmful?

hi, im 16 years old and i gave my boyyfriend a love bite and i may have done it too hard :S, and it started to bleed and i think i may have swallowed some of his blood as i could taste blood after. i was just wondering if ya could tell me if it could do any harm to my body?
