Can Taking Citalopram And Tri Sprintec Together Cause Anxiety?

I ve been taking Citalopram for 2 and half years along with my birth control and never had a problem. I recently switched birth control this past week, due to having to switch pharmacies and my anxiety has been bothering me more than usual. Could the birth control change have an effect on my anxiety? Also does Citalopram and Tri-sprintec have any interactions that they shouldn t be taken together?
