Can Taking Duphaston Regulate The Periods?

Hi i have very irregular periods before was like bleeding with no stop but now is the oposite i dont have my periods since i had my last ivf that had misscariage ,so my doctor gave me duphaston for just a mounth but still the same i dnt get my period how should i have duphaston every mounth to regulate my periods.thank you
