Can Taking I Pill Post Having Unprotected Intercourse Avoid Pregnancy?

I want to know that last nite having sex first time with my boyfriend and we were physical but my question is we are strongly feel that nothing gone anything (supm) but we scared that if little much gone so will problem in future? And if I will take i-pill so will safe? Or i-pill will not suitable ?
just for safe side I will take otherwise may be its dosent gone anything sure about that
And in future on my period days will effect after take ipill?
