Can Taking Loestrin Oral Be Safe For Itchy Rashes On Arms And Legs?

I just started taking Loestrin oral last week and Ive devleoped a VERY itchy rash on my arms and legs. Went to my GP and he said no the pill, somthing I came in contact with. Shot me steroids and gave me topical cream but still VERY itchy after two days and its spreading further down my legs? Any ideas?
