Can Taking Suboxone After Opoid Use Cause Withdrawal Symptoms?

I recently stopped taking my suboxone for oral surgery so I could take norco for pain. I have only been taking norco for one week & now ready to get back on my suboxone. I understand taking suboxone after opoid use can send you into immediate withdrawls. I haven t been on norco long enough to withdrawl from it so is it safe to swap bk to suboxone without waiting?
