Can Tampons Be Used After Removal Of Stent From The Ureter?

i just had a stent removed in my right ureter it was placed there becouse of a kidney stone is it safe for me to use a tampon i believe i may have started my period i am having a lot of heavy bleeding and constant cramps i hate using pads but i cant move around with out bleeding
