Can Testicular Torsion Be Ruled Out If Ultrasound Shows Normal Blood Flow And Pain Is Mild, Persistent, And Pressure-sensitive?
On 03/24, I had some sudden testicle pain and discomfort. Wasn’t bad, a 3 out of 10 maybe. Didn’t go away the next day so I went to an ER. They performed an ultrasound and urine test and they didn’t find anything noteworthy. Got sent home with a naproxen and doxycycline prescription I started taking the next day. Fast forward to now, still having mild pain and discomfort. Barely noticeable if I’m wearing loose shorts/underwear. Seems sensitive to pressure. Plan to see a urologist on Tuesday, but part of me is still concerned about torsion. Given that blood flow in my ultrasound showed normal and that I haven’t had any severe pain or nausea, it’s likely we can rule out torsion or a dead testicle right? I can still feel it and the right hand Scrotum still feels hot and cold for example
