Can The Breast Gland Extension Be Removed Via Surgery?

Hi, I have a breast gland extension in my underarm...i have it since childhood and the doctor called it breast extension...however, I have questions about the same..does it cause any problem or can it be removed through surgery or any other method...i am unable to wear certain outfits as it looks awful....any advise
