Can The Hubble Eye Implant Be Used For Advanced Macular Degeneration?

hi I am looking for information of the iol amd hubble eye implant. Is this coming to Canada? My grandmother is going to be 97 years of age and is suffering from Advanced macular degeneration. This implant sounds like her only chance of living the rest of her life with some quality and independence. let me know. Thank you Debbie
