Can The Penis Shaft Lump Be Causing This Bend?

Just over a year ago I had a pea sized bump on the top, mid-shaft of my penis. I thought this was due to a rough sexual intercourse that I had with my fiance`. My docter said it was nothing to worry about. About 8 months ago, it moved to the left, still mid-shaft. During all this time there was a little bit of pain when erect. For the last couple of months, the bump is gone or not noticable, however there is now a kink/bend that occurs around the same side of where the bump was, while erect. There is still a slight bit of pain, but I have a high pain tolerence. I am a 50 year old caucasian male in decent health.
