Dear Sir, Good day. I am a Bangladeshi male (43) with the history of Kidney transplantation 15 years back, I am on immunosupresives mycophenolate Mofetil (Cellcept) and prednisolone along with antihypertensives and insulin. Recently I have noticed a new problem Voice-change/Hoarseness and accordingly last week after video Laryngoscopy Big Sessile polyp in interior part of right vocal cord has been found, the ENT specialist at Apollo hospitals Dkaha has advised for MLS with laser under G.A. My Nephrologist thinks that there is a moderate risk of worsening of renal functions. My present Urea: 70; Creat: 2.2 and HB: 9.7. At this fragile condition of my kidney I am afraid of any surgery now. My plan is to avoid surgery now, considering the fragile condition of kidney. Do speech therapy work in this case? Will delayed surgery create new problem? Is there any alternative instead od surgery?? Please let me know your valuable advice. Regards
