Can Trimming The Hair Near Nipples Cause Swelling In Nipples?

Doctor I trim near my nipple after that I notice I have swelling in my right nipple. After few weeks I trim again on left nipple just make sure it happen due to trimming hair near nipple. The next day I notice my left nipple started swelling. So I conform its bcoz of trimming. Later I went to doctor show him. He said its nothing. He gave some medicine. But it didn't effect me. So I please request you to suggest how my nipple get back to normal. I m really worried. Thanks
