Can Tubal Ligation And Ovaries Removal After Pregnancy Cause Any Problem?

My cousin has pcos and she is about 27 or 28 weeks pregnant right now. after this pregnancy she wants to get her tubes/ovaries removed becuase she does not want to have no more kids will it be safe for her and is there a risk that she can prolly get cancer?
