Can Using Heating Pad Cause Extreme Sensitivity In Head?

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...I received a heating pad for my mattress for Christmas. About 3 days after the outside of the right side of my head was extremely sensitive. I quit using the heating pad and it took about 1 week until it felt better. It still doesn't feel the quite the same as the other side. Was it the heating pad or not?
