Can Wart Remover Be Used To Cure Raw, Opened Wart?

hello.. I have a wart on my finger that I have used dr scholls Freeze away.. and it is coming off .... WHICH is a really good thing.. But it is raw under neath .. I have picked the old dead part off and there are still some black spots from the roots of the wart and a small raw part that is opened.. Is it safe for me to use wart remover on the wart area still to get rid of the rest of the wart? or do I keep it covered? What do i do?
