Can Wax In Ear Lead To Hearing Loss?

Please type your query here...my daughter who is 9 years old,always use to listen to tv or music only in a loud voice,when we asks about it she says she cant hear properly,she has wax in her ears which we used to remove with the help of a doctor after using" otorex",is she have any hearing problem?or its due to the wax in her ear?
