Can Wearing Of Back Brace Cause Slightly Deformed Vertebrae?

I am being treaten for Spinal TB & on medication since last 8 months. My spinal L2 vertebrae partially collapsed & I was having severe back pain 8 months ago. I was advised by my doctor to wear Taylors Brace all the time during sleep & lying on bed. I am on bed rest. There is some progress in my legs & back strength but when XRays of lumbo-dorsal spine (lateral & AP) was compared there is no change in structure of L2 (slightly deformed). Is it due to wearing back brace even on lying & sleeping ?
