Can you tell me what is the best medicine to take for on going pain for osteoarthritis? I am 66 years old and have had this problem for the past 5 yrs. I have had a knee replacement on my right knee & two ankle fusion on each foot. My left knee along with my hips are almost daily pain & stiffness for me. I am allergic to Nsaids which cause me stomach problems & itching. I have been through physical therapy after each 3 surgeries. It he!led at the time but now the arthritis just keeps moving thru my body. Please help. Doctors seem to want to give these antidepressive & seizures drugs more than anything these days. I' be tried a few including the last thing I took, Cymbalta with no relief, but grogginess & tiredness!
