Coming Out Of Nursing Home After Surgery On Foot. MD

Coming out of nursing home after surgery on foot. MD at home prescribed atenolol,50 mg plus hydroclorothiade, 25 mg, each once per day. Previously ( prior to surgery) my PCP prescribed a combination pill, atenolol/chlorthalidone 50mg/25mg, and I still have nearly a full bottle of these pills. Are they basically the same? May I take my old script rather than having two new prescriptions filled?
