Could Entamoeba Coli Cyst Causing Vomiting And Diarrhoea Be Contagious?

Hi I suffered from loose vowel and vomiting and I was diagnosed with Entamoeba Coli Cyst. I suffered from loose vowel and vomiting. Question: 1)How bad is it? 2)Where can we get the entamoeba coli cyst? 3) Will it affect other members of the household? I am taking Norisec & Metformin for high blood sugar w/ Hba1c of 8 and Lifesar 100 mg for my hypertension. Is it related? Thanks Florida
