Could HCG Injections Cause False Positive Results For Pregnancy?

i have pcod and i went through clomid treatment.MY LWP was on 27th
nov and i got hcg shot 5000IU on 11th dec..ovulated on 13th..
I conducted HPT tody nd it was faint line(positive).
Is this false positive asscoiated due to hcg injection or real positive?
