Could Hepatitis C Be Genetically Transferred?

Hello, my husband and I are in the process of adoption and a birth mother is on methadone and klonopin and recently confirmed with Hep C. Will the unborn baby be born addicted to the drugs and will the baby have Hep C? Thank you very much for your time and assistance.
