Could Microgynon Be The Cause For Light And Short Periods?

I had taken the morning after pill almost 2 weeks ago. I have had some very light bleeding at the time I would usually have my period but this has only lasted 2 days. Usually my periods are quite heavy and painful. I took my first microgynon 30 pill on the day I started to bleed. Would this have caused the light bleeding?
