Could Thyroid Disease Be The Cause For Fibromyalgia And Lupus?

I have been diagnosed with thyroid disease for five years and has been hard to keep controlled. I am also experiencing signs and symptoms of fibromyalgia and possibly lupus. My question is: if a person suffering from thyroid disease could also develop fibromyalgia and lupus, as I have been told all three are intertwined within the musculoskeletal system. Is this true?
