Could A 3-month-old Nipple Lump Be Just A Boil Especially With A History Of Recurring Bumps?

I have a lump/mass/boil on my right nipple. FINALLY, after 3 months went to the doctor. She was not at office but a pic was sent to her and she called me saying it was a boil and gave me antibiotics. I have NEVER seen this doctor before and she just looked at a pic? This has been going on for over 3 months, this time as I have small bumps for the last couple of years
