Could A Thick Heterogeneous Endometrium With Left Pelvic Pain Indicate Endometrial Cancer Or Polyps?

Hi I have a 8mm thick heterogenous endometrium diagnosed on transvaginal ultraosund and I do have pelvic pain on the left hand side but no bleeding. Could this be endometrial cancer or a polyps and should i have a biopsy done. I am not overweight and I have never bared children. Also should i get a hysterectomy done in the future to avoid getting any cancer down the line? thank you
